My Time at Sandrock Release Date Delayed

The My Time at Sandrock release date got delayed by two months. The full version of the game was supposed to come to the Switch, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on September 26, 2023, with a PS4 version following. Pathea announced it will now launch on November 2, 2023. It didn’t note if this delay now means the PS4 version will launch alongside all the other ones. However, the developer did say this means the digital and physical copies will arrive on the same day.

Pathea said it delayed My Time at Sandrock to ensure the final game’s quality. It cited a desire to meet expectations. Here’s the full statement, which it shared on Steam and its social media account:

Today we would like to address a release delay for My Time at Sandrock. Our team has been hard at work making sure the game is the best it can be upon release, but after much deliberation, we feel that a delay is necessary to better ensure the game quality will meet your standards and expectations.

We know players have been looking forward to this title, so we sincerely apologize for extending its development. November 2nd is our updated release date for physical and digital versions of the game.

We would also like to take this time to thank you for your continued support. Your continued enthusiasm and fan contributions are greatly appreciated and keep us focused and motivated as we come closer to launch. We wouldn’t be where we are without your help and support. With all our hearts, we look forward to welcoming you to Sandrock on November 2nd!

My Time at Sandrock is able to be played right now. The game entered early access back in May 2022. It appeared on both the Epic Games Store and Steam.

The new My Time at Sandrock release date is November 2, 2023. It will appear on the PS5, Switch, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X physically and digitally at launch. A PS4 version is also in development.
