Night Dive Studios has remastered the classic 1997 N64 dino shooter Turok and will be bringing it to PC on Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store on December 17th 2015.

For this remaster, Turok have been enhanced with a new visual engine (notice the lack of fog) as well as “exciting new features.” You can get a look at the Turok remaster in the trailer above.

In Turok, you play as the time-travelling Native American warrior Tal’Set as he protects the barrier between Earth and the Lost Land – where time has no meaning, and dinosaurs and aliens roam. More specifically, you have to stop an evil overlord known as the Campaigner from restoring the eight pieces of an ancient artifact known as the Chronoscepter.
