More news on the shooter/shmup front and this time it’s for the DS. Majesco who published Nanostray officially announced they are publishing the sequel. The major new feature Shin’en is adding to Nanostray 2 is wi-fi support. You can play with a friend locally and upload your scores to online leaderboards. Majesco has Nanostray 2 slated for “early 2008”, which means Shin’en had nearly three years to make a follow up. Let’s hope it’s a good one. The DS needs more quality shmups.
