Tomy sent V-Jump a clip of their yearly Nintendo Naruto game and for the most part Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX 3 looks a lot like Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 minus the whole original ANBU story. The two player tag team system will be implemented along with new Shippuuden characters Hidan and Kakuzu. This was pretty much expected, but the single player brawler mode is a surprise. In Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX 3 can run through a 3D forest with Sasuke or Naruto and pummel your way through brain dead ninja. The concept seems to echo the popular Dynasty Warriors series with more shadow clone explosions.
Japan gets Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX 3 on November 27. We’ll have to wait until next year to see if this mode wriggles its way into the inevitable Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3.
