Namco Bandai announced that they are releasing the next installment of the Ultimate Ninja series in North America. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, which is supposedly based off of Naruto: Narultimate Hero 2 (confirmed by a representative that it is). Namco Bandai said there would be over thirty characters in the game, which suggests that the entire roster is going to be kept intact (there are thirty three characters in the game if you unlock everything). This list includes: Tsunade, Itachi, Kisame, and Dotou from the second first Naruto movie. There would be some major spoilers for followers of the North American dub, which also means they could be switching around the roster. Either way it’s good to see that they’re bringing this to North America, the RPG mode lets people explore Konoha village and the character roster is exactly what fans want.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 coming in summer 2007
