The latest issue of Famitsu goes over Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists and how Nelke can unlock new routes in order to further her exploration of the new land. Additionally, some of the events involving the crossover leads were introduced.
At the start, you’ll be limited to a certain few routes to explore and gather ingredients on. By reaching the very end of each route, you open up new routes that can be unlocked by investing in them.
That said, you’ll need to choose to Run if you want to do so, warns Koei Tecmo and Gust. While walking lets you gather ingredients and materials, running gets you through each route quicker, especially since time is limited.
At the end of every route, there is a strong boss monster waiting to be fought.
Famitsu also showed off two events that Nelke can encounter when visiting the alchemists during her days off. For example, one day Nelke happens upon Lita, who’s feeling unwell. When Nelke offers to take care of her, Klein interrupts and says they don’t need her help as they’d just bother her.
Raze and Ulrika are arguing about something, as usual. It seems that in this game, they’ll be settling their differences in some sort of competition.
It seems the characters will have interactions over things like Viese and Lita sharing a surname, Judie and Elie having a common friend, and more topics that longtime fans will love.
Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 31, 2019. It’ll come to the West on March 26 in North America and March 29 in Europe for PS4, Switch, and PC. Check our last report on how there are over 200 facilities for town building here.
