Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting Sets Its Sights For July

KOF Sky Stage? That was just the beginning of SNK themed vertical shooters. Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting expands the concept of flying SNK stars in a retail game packed with crossover characters.

In Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting, players blast through a character’s story in story mode with shots and bombs. Who can you play as? Ten characters are confirmed for the game.

The SkyStage option is used to play a port of KOF SkyStage, an arcade/Xbox Live arcade game. Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting also has a medal collecting challenge mode where you can unlock concept art and a multiplayer battle where two players can face off in the sky. Since the PSP has a widescreen and is easily rotated, SNK also made a tate or vertical mode. Good idea, but I wonder how the controls will work.
