Neptunia Action Game From Onechanbara Studio Slashes Onto Vita In August

"Slash and boing" is the tag line for Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U. The game was teased back in March. Thanks to this week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation, we know Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U is a PlayStation Vita title and it’s coming out in Japan on August 28.

The only screenshot we’ve seen is Neptune fighting an army of Dogoos. It almost looks like… Dogoo Warriors?

Dengeki PlayStation says other console goddesses Noire, Blanc, and Vert will be playable as well. All four will be able to do goddess transformations in Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U. The report also speculates that characters may powerup when their clothes are torn. A new character named Dengekiko, a mascot for the Dengeki brand, will be introduced in the game.

Neptunia producer Naoko Mizuno is working on the game with Ichiro Murase who worked on the Dream Club series. Tamsoft, makers of Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection and the Onechanbara series, is developing the game.
