The Netflix August 2020 series and movie updates have been revealed on Twitter, and quite a few different anime series will be joining the service. The Studio DEEN The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods series is one of the more notable additions, as it only started running in Japan in October 2019. The first season of Toradora!, which was made by J.C.Staff, will also appear. People will also be able to catch the new, third season of Aggretsuko.

Here are all of the notable Netflix anime or animated series that will be showing up throughout August 2020.

  • Aggretsuko’s third season will appear on August 27, 2020. Aggretsuko is still trying to find love and an escape from the daily grind.
  • The Legend of Korra will appear on August 14, 2020. It is the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender and follows the adventures of Aang’s successor, Korra.
  • Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea’s first season will appear on August 1, 2020. It follows students who lived below the sea who suddenly must attend school on land.
  • The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of the Gods will appear on August 6, 2020. It picks up where the Revival of The Commandments series left off and follows the adventures of Britannia’s former holy knights.
  • Toradora!’s first season will appear on August 1, 2020. It follows Ryuuji, a kind guy looks like an intimidating troublemaker, and Taiga, a tiny and cute girl who is much fiercer than she appears, and their relationship.

In case you missed it or are looking for other things to watch, Yu-Gi-Oh was added to Netflix in July 2020 and Pokemon Journeys is now on the service.
