Recommended Videos

Castlevania’s animated series just made its debut on Netflix just a few days ago on July 7th, and the show has already been renewed for a second season, as reported by Deadline. While its first season will only total four episodes, the second will include twice that with eight. However, not much else is known about the second season, although Frederator Studios will be returning to provide the show’s animation.

The series, based on the Castlevania games, follows the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan as he tries to save Eastern Europe from Vlad Dracula Tepes.

Below you can check out some clips from the show, courtesy of IGN, with one featuring commentary from the series’ producer, Adi Shankar.
