A New 3D King of Fighters Game Is In Development

SNK Playmore recently updated their website with a staff recruitment page for a new King of Fighters game, which looks like it will be a 3D fighter for the series’ next installment.   According to the page they’re currently looking for a game programmer with experience in console games, various development tools and middleware, a technical designer who can handle high-end graphics, and a CG designer who’ll work on 3D and high-end character models to go with character animations and more.   Siliconera got in touch with SNK Playmore to ask whether it’ll be a 3D game, to which they responded, “Indeed, a new installment in 3D in the KOF series is currently in preparation.”   The new King of Fighters game and its platform will be announced in the near future.
