Gust’s New Atelier Rorona tells the same story as Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, except the developers decided to give it a cuter chibi-style look for the 3DS remake. The latest video for it focuses on the cuter parts of the game.
The video starts out with chibi Rorona going around and meeting several characters from Atelier Rorona. She is then shown exploring, while taking part in a battle. In addition to its different looks, New Atelier Rorona has a different battle system.
The game also features a new “Atelier Astrid” mode, which you unlock after meeting certain requirements in the story. This mode will tell the earlier lives of Astrid and Sterk, where you’ll get to see how Astrid ended up taking in Rorona as her own pupil.
New Atelier Rorona will release in Japan on March 26, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
