By Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada tweeted about a new camera system the development team is testing for Tekken 7. A new camera feature will allow both players to start on the same side at arcades that have two connected machines.
This is an interesting change for competitive play since players tend to be better at one side compared to the other. The new camera system in Tekken 7 flips the planes on one screen which allows both players to fight on the left or right side of the screen. Tekken 7 is still in development and scheduled to debut in Japanese arcades this March.
