Square Enix announced a horde of Chrono Trigger merchandise based on characters from the JRPG and confirmed among the items will be plush toys of Frog and Robo. Everything is expected to appear in Japan on February 3, 2027. Some of the items are tied to the Orchestra Concert soundtrack performance, like an acrylic diorama, mug, t-shirt, tote bag, and pair of pins. The US storefront isn’t showing pre-orders for any of the pieces yet, but we should see them worldwide on that store and Amazon.
The Chrono Trigger Frog and Robo plush are two of three plush characters in this latest merchandise drop. The third one is Nu. Robo is tallest, as the character sits at almost eight inches tall (200mm), and it is also the most expensive of the three as it costs 5,280 yen (~$33). Frog is almost six inches tall (150mm), in comparison, and costs 4,180 yen (~$26). Nu is the smallest, sitting at about five inches (130mm), and that costs 3,080 yen (~$19).

As a reminder, that Chrono Trigger Orchestra Concert: Melodies Across Time does have three US performances as part of its schedule. It will appear in New York on October 10, 2026, Chicago on October 14, 2026, and Los Angeles on October 18, 2026.
All of these new Chrono Trigger items will debut in Japan on February 3, 2027, and we’ll likely see it worldwide soon after that. The game is on the SNES, DS, PS1, PC, and mobile devices.
