The action this time around will take place in Dogtown, which was previously mentioned in other trailers and promises “endless dynamic events and missions.” With the new area comes new cyberware and weapons, as we see V peruse several in the trailer before settling on a railgun-like sniper called the Rasetsu. There will also be a new skill tree called the Relic tree, which will contain new abilities focused on opening up new playstyles and builds for players to experiment with.

As well as new additions, the trailer also shows off some aspects of the game that have been redisigned. Several skill trees have been changed and new perks have been added, such as air-dashes, bullet deflection and new finishers. The way police react has also changed, new ai that promises more pro-active behaviours like blocking traffic and ramming vehicles. The latter should play in to the new vehicular combat mechanic that will also be present in the base game and allow players to shoot and hack enemies while driving.
