New Digimon Adventure PV Being Made for 25th Anniversary Exhibition

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Digimon Adventure anime series a new promotional video (PV) is now being produced. Additionally, new information about the merchandise goods that will appear on the anniversary exhibition appeared. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]

The new PV will be produced for the Digimon Adventure 25th Anniversary Exhibition that will be held at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City between August 10-25, 2024. A new teaser art piece for the upcoming Digimon Adventure PV also appeared.

The artwork depicts seven phone booths alongside the chosen children. The characters depicted from left to right are Taichi (or Tai in the English dub,) Mimi, Yamato (or Matt) with Takeru (or T.K,) Izumi (or Izzy,) Sora, and Jo. A notable exception in the artwork is Yagami Hikari (or Kari Kamiya,) Tai’s sister and Tailmon’s partner, who is considered the eighth chosen child.

Furthermore, the merchandise that will be available at the anniversary exhibition was revealed. Special good tickets come with a commemorative medal of the Digimon Adventure chosen children’s partner and their crest. You can check out the full list of items and pricing here:

Another line of Digimon Adventure 25th anniversary merchandise was recently announced to appear on a new pop up stores throughout Japan between June and September 2024.

A new Digimon Adventure PV will appear as part of the 25th Anniversary Exhibition event. The release date for the promotional video hasn’t been announced yet.
