A New Digimon Anime Project Is In The Works

The Digimon Adventure tri. anime film series project is wrapping up soon with its sixth and final chapter premiering tomorrow in Japan, but it’s been revealed that a new project is in the works.

Unfortunately we don’t have any more information and the tweet doesn’t specify whether it’ll be part of a new Digimon Adventure series or something completely new. Since this was shared on the series’ official anime account, it’s very unlikely that it’s for a game or anything else, but hopefully we don’t have to wait too long before getting more details or a first look.

Digimon Adventure tri – Chapter 6: Bokura no Mirai (Our Future) premieres in Japan on May 5, 2018. It’ll be available in English starting September 20, 2018. Chapter 5: Coexistence is the next part of the film to release in English and that will be on May 10.
