The Disgaea 7 series of Disgaea Academy trailers are starting to appear worldwide to discuss the new game. This series of shorts first debuted in Japan starting in December 2022. The localized versions are basically exactly like the originals, with each installment going over different features and elements of both the new entry and series in general. The first one is called, “What is Disgaea?”
This video is more of a general introduction to the Disgaea series. It involves Zombie Maiden learning more about the games from her teacher, Mr. Ranger. It begins by reminding people when Disgaea 7 releases, then introduces the series, brings up how to play, and shows footage from the new game. It also goes over how “big numbers” remain a hallmark of the series. For example, it mentions the level cap is 9,999 and millions of damage can be dealt.

The Disgaea 7 release date is October 3, 2023 in North America, October 6, 2023 in Europe, and October 13, 2023 in Australia. We will be able to play the game on the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC.
