Following past confirmations about upcoming Ecco the Dolphin games from A&R Atelier and Sega, there’s an update again about titles and products, a new website, and an official Discord server. The site itself also features a countdown in the lower left corner that, at time of writing said 2352:58:20, signifying something will happen in about 2,352 hours. That would suggest a possible reveal on April 22, 2026.

Details are vague still. We do know from May 2025 that A&R Atelier already confirmed remasters of both Ecco the Dolphin and Ecco: The Tides of Time. In the game section of the site, there’s only art of the character leaping out of the water, surrounded by other dolphins and fish. That page also notes, “Developed by A&R Atelier” and has a 2026 trademark. The About section says that updates will appear here and that people can create an account and sign in for updates. The home page also features links to official social networks like Discord

Here’s a screenshot of the site homepage, with the countdown clock highlighted in red.

There were five original Ecco the Dolphin games total, though two were Ecco Jr spin-offs. The last entry released was the Dreamcast and PS2 reboot Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future. However, that’s one of those rare instances where the PS2 version only appeared outside of Japan. The Genesis games and spin-offs frequently appeared in collections and compilations, and the original game is part of the Sega Genesis Nintendo Switch Online app.

We should learn more about the new Ecco the Dolphin games and products in the near future.
