Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium places you into the shoes of the Commander, as you take charge of a squad of Tactical Dolls. Take on commissions in a series of tactical turn-based battles as you fight for victory.
The newest update, Chiral Redundancy, releases on August 27, 2026, and the first half of the update runs until September 16, 2026. It introduces OTs-14 as a new playable Doll and debuts Nemesis: Gnosis as a MOD form of an existing Doll. This comes alongside new story content, new outfits and more. With over 80 pulls and 9,400+ Collapse Pieces available throughout the update, plus a separate 80-pull from Reunion Oath event, new and returning players will have plenty of support to strengthen their squads and catch up. The update also moves the main story forward as the Commander’s resources, partnerships, and influence continue to grow, raising the stakes of future confrontations. It’s the perfect time to jump in, whether that’s for the first time or if you just haven’t been back in a while.
OTs-14 Joins the Squad
Leading the charge is OTs-14.Her appearance closely resembles Groza’s look,, while her calm, serious, confident, and proud temperament reflects her complete Griffin-era memories. OTs-14 and the Groza originated from the same neural imprint and share some of the same memories, they have since developed into two separate individuals. Modified into a third-generation Doll, OTs-14 is proud and confident, calm and serious, and takes pride in possessing overwhelming strength that allows her to assist the Commander.

With her debut as a playable character, OTs-14 also brings a new Attribute: Resonance. As the name suggests, this allows her the unique ability to resonate with any squadmate and bring out the best in her and her team. Her abilities will adjust to any situation she finds herself in, gaining enhancements across different Phase mechanics. Not only does she deal some impressive damage on her own, she is also capable of buffing and supporting her squad in many ways. With her ability to slot into any team and become a highly valuable support, she is an essential addition to your squad.
OTs-14 and the Question of Identity
Her story is at the heart of the Chiral Redundancy update. The original frame of Groza, who sacrificed herself to protect the Commander at launch, did not truly perish. It was recovered by the Conglomerate and modified into the third-generation Doll Juno. Meanwhile, the Groza who has accompanied the Commander until now was reconstructed from a backup frame. When these two distinct Dolls, sharing part of the same memories – meet aboard the Elmo, their conflicting claims to Groza’s past spark a deeply personal confrontation.
Beyond the immediate conflict, the story examines OTs-14’s journey to define herself. If memories can be copied and bodies replaced, continuity can no longer be defined by a single physical form—turning the meeting between the two Dolls into a broader question about personhood, memory, and the right to claim a shared past.
In the new story content, the Commander will be forced to consider the ethical dilemma of the two Dolls existing alongside one another. With modified bodies and replaced memories, which of the two Dolls has the right to call themselves the “original” Groza?
Nemesis: Gnosis is the First MOD Doll, Free for All Players
OTs-14 is not alone in the Chiral Redundancy patch, as Nemesis returns in the form of Nemesis: Gnosis, the first MOD Doll in the game. The new Doll MOD system upgrades eligible Standard Dolls into Elite Dolls, with Nemesis being the first supported Doll at launch. The separate Gnostic Insight event provides the item needed to unlock her MOD form, after which Commanders can freely switch between her standard form and her MOD form.

Nemesis: Gnosis is a Corrosion attribute Sentinel Doll whose combat style can be modified by her Commander, while using Prophecies to enhance her damage output. Her Elite Weapon, a sniper rifle, allows her to increase her ability to deal Corrosion damage and increase her critical damage.
Even better, players can unlock Nemesis: Gnosis without spending. The Gnostic Insight event provides Nemesis’s Original Frame, the item required to upgrade her from a Standard Doll into an Elite Doll through the Doll MOD system. Materials for her Segments are obtained separately from the themed event shop, allowing Commanders to develop her to Segment 6 for free.
Abundant Rewards Make This the Best Time to Join the Fight
Beyond the free MOD upgrade for Nemesis, the main update offers over 80 pulls and 9,400+ Collapse Pieces through play and daily exchanges. Separately, completing Reunion Oath missions awards up to 80 Reunion Permissions (time-limited). These pulls are used in two selection pools, one for Dolls and one for Elite Weapons, which together contain every Doll and Elite Weapon released from launch through the end of the 1st Anniversary Major Update, and using all 80 guarantees at least one selected Elite Doll or Elite Weapon at no cost.

For new players, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a powerful limited character such as Leva or Klukai right out the gate..Eligible returning players who have been away for more than 21 days can also receive a welcome-back letter from their Dolls, exclusive login rewards, return missions, and a limited number of double-resource opportunities to help them catch up quickly.
This expansion of the Commander’s tomato enterprise is part of the continuing main storyline, carrying forward the resources, contacts, and influence built in earlier chapters..In addition, new outfits for the dolls can be obtained, with OTs-14 having the option to wear an outfit inspired by Groza’s iconic look from Girls’ Frontline, while Klukai and Qiuhua also gain new unique outfits.
