New Etrian Odyssey Game That’s Not Etrian Odyssey 3 Untold In Development For 3DS

Atlus announced during a recent talk show event for the Etrian Odyssey’s 10th anniversary that a new game is in development for the series, and it isn’t Etrian Odyssey 3 Untold. [Thanks, @tantou_KAI, via Game Jouhou.]   The information comes from series director Shigeo Komori who announced at the very end of the talk show even that a brand-new Etrian Odyssey game will be announced in Spring 2018.   Komori said that the hardware is 3DS and it won’t be Etrian Odyssey Untold 3. He also said that it will be a true compilation of everything and jokingly added that there will be more than enough maps to draw to make you tired of it with content beyond your imagination.   Etrian Odyssey’s latest release was Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth which released in for 3DS in August 2016 in Japan, October 2017 in North America, and November 2017 in Europe.
