The recurring Final Fantasy XIV Free Login Campaign event is back again, allowing inactive players who own FFXIV to return and play for 96 hours for free. This offer kicked off today. People who let their subscription lapse can take part until June 14, 2026.
All of the usual eligibility requirements and restrictions remain from past iterations of this event. You have to own a copy of the MMORPG and have a currently inactive service account that hasn’t played for 30 days. So if you played between April 15, 2026 and May 15, 2026, you don’t qualify. If your account was inactive by or before April 14, 2026, you should be good to go. However, if it was inactive because you violated the terms of service, you can’t take part.
If you do quality, everything starts when you login anytime between May 15, 2026 and June 14, 2026. From the day you log in, you’re given 96 hours to play FFXIV for free due to the Free Login Campaign grace period. Once that consecutive period of time finishes, you’re done. So you can’t just pick any four days between that period and go through it.
This is the second run of the Free Login Campaign in 2026. Square Enix basically kicked off the year with the promotion. The first one ran between January 9, 2026 and February 9, 2026.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the latest FFXIV Free Login Campaign runs between May 15, 2026 and June 14, 2026. The Switch 2 version of the MMORPG will arrive in August 2026. The Evercold expansion is due to arrive in January 2027, though there’s no exact release date for it yet.
