Square Enix and Taito announced a new collection of Final Fantasy XIV light up mouse and mouse pad pairs based on the FFXIV Dawntrail Solution Nine area Regulators and Arcadion Raid bosses. There are three mouse pad options available, with two heading to arcades as prizes in Japan everywhere and a Hot and Deep Blue variant only showing up as a Taito-exclusive. All of the options will show up in Japan at the end of October 2026. It’s unknown if we’ll see Square Enix sell them worldwide like other FFXIV mouse pads. Stores like Aitai Kuji are already taking pre-orders and will ship the items worldwide.

In the case of the FFXIV mouse, it features the Solution Nine Regulator design on the top. It is a wired mouse. When in use, the color will shift from red to blue to show if it is inactive or active. This is the same sort of color connotation used in-game. There is only one variant of that.

It’s the FFXIV Dawntrail Arcadion Raid boss mouse pads that look different. The standard options are one design that pairs up AAC Light-heavyweight M1 boss Black Cat with AAC Light-heavyweight M4 boss Wicked Thunder, while the other features the AAC Cruiserweight M1 boss Dancing Green. Meanwhile, the other Taito-exclusive design features the AAC Heavyweight M2 boss pair Red Hot and Deep Blue.

Here are the official images showing all of the designs ahead of their debut.

The Final Fantasy XIV light up Regulator mouse and Arcadion Raid boss mouse pads will show up in Japanese arcades as prizes at the end of October 2026, and FFXIV and the Dawntrail expansion are on the Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
