New Genshin Impact Sumeru Girdle of the Sands Areas Detailed

HoYoVerse updated its Genshin Impact Sumeru Adventure Journal going over the new Girdle of the Sands area. There are two primary locations in here known as the Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhkert. The update goes over the locations in each, enemies found there, and materials you can find. All of it will appear when 3.6 arrives next week.

First, the update went over some pictures showing new places in the Girdle of the Sands Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhkert Genshin Impact Sumeru area. Some points of interest include the Hills of Barsom, Sign of Apaosha, Tunigi Hollow, and Vourukasha Oasis. People will see the new Mourning Flower and Trishiraite stones in these spaces. The wildlife in some spots will include the Tent Tortoise. HoYoVerse suggested it is a peaceful creature. Abyssal Gray Crystals will also be around the area, which can be purified by Khvarena to gain access to new areas.

The new “ally” people will see is the Pari Sorush. This is a small, floating creature that can fly around the area. People can use her to help trigger Four Leaf Sigils or solve puzzles and deal with Gray Crystals.

Finally, five kinds of enemies came up in the overview. The standard new enemies are the Ameno Hilichurl Rogue, Consecrated Fanged Beast, Consecrated Horned Crocodile, and Hydro Hilichurl Rogue. As for the more challenging boss, it is the Abyss’ Iniquitous Baptist that uses Cryo, Electro, Hydro, and Pyro attacks. It will also unleash Elemental Rings to deal elemental damage.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 3.6 update arrives on April 12, 2023.
