HoYoVerse announced a new game called Nodusfall during gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live. Unlike its past titles, this features a more realistic art direction. It will still involve co-op elements, just like many of its other titles.

The initial Nodusfall trailer showed off some different characters, their design, opponents we’ll face, and locations in the world. In the title, our avatars will be Weavers. They are tasked with facing massive entities that have gone awry. These characters will need to “wield divinity” and face the Dreadnodus that threaten the peace. Based on the initial impressions, this will be done alongside other players. It’s unknown how much we will be able to do if we play alone.

The first trailer for the game is available to watch on YouTube now.

This is one of three new HoYoVerse games in the works. One is an Animal Crossing type of life sim called Petit Planetfor PCs and mobile devices. The other is a creature collector where we befriend beings known as Anima to fight alongside them called Honkai: Nexus Anima. That’s also headed to PCs and mobile devices.

The new HoYoVerse game Nodusfall is in development.
