New Killer Is Dead Concept Art Shows An Assassination In Japan

Grasshopper Manufacture shared more artwork (but still no screenshots!) for Killer is Dead. This upcoming title puts players in the shoes of an executioner who has to hunt down dangerous criminals. As described in Famitsu magazine, Killer is Dead will have swordplay similar to No More Heroes, but with new elements.

Sketches show the executioner running through what appears to be Japan at nighttime with cherry blossom leaves falling in the background and another scene with a giant man stomping on a nuclear plant(!?). Perhaps, these S-rank criminals have special powers? Killer is Dead is slated for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next year.
