Konami revealed that it will develop and release remasters of otome games based on The Prince of Tennis for Switch, Switch 2, and PC worldwide. The company launches this project to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Prince of Tennis: Sweet School Festival, which originally appeared for PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2005.

The remasters will be available in two separate releases. The Prince of Tennis: Sweet School Festival ♡-40 and more… will be based on the original PS2 game and the More Sweet Edition remaster that appeared on Nintendo DS in 2010.

The second release will have the subtitle Doki Doki Survival – Tie break ♡ game. Konami will base it on the 2011 DS release of Sea and Mountain Love Passion, which combined the PS2 releases of Mystic of the Mountain in 2006 and Secret of the Seaside in 2007.

The new remasters for Switch and PC will have newly-drawn cutscenes. However, Konami will also retain the cutscenes from the previous DS releases. The new remasters will have an option that lets the player switch between the older and newer cutscenes.

Konami set up the official website for this remaster project in not only Japanese but also English and Chinese. The Steam pages for both Sweet School Festival and Doki Doki Survival are only available in Japanese when the company just put them up. However, Konami has promised in the Japanese press release that the remasters will also be available in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

A teaser trailer for The Prince of Tennis otome game remasters has also appeared on Konami’s Japanese YouTube channel:
