We’re going to learn what’s next for the new Naruto anime adaptations as the teased limited series will be officially announced at the 2026 New York Comic Con. A placeholder is already live on YouTube for the presentation, which will happen on October 10, 2026. People actually at the event can see it at 5pm ET, while everyone worldwide can watch it between 2pm PT/5pm ET/11pm CET and 3pm PT/6pm ET/12am CET. This follows Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations adaptations of the Masashi Kishimoto manga series.
The description for the YouTube teaser and reveal don’t spoil too many secrets. The teaser image for the stream shows Naruto in his Shippuden outfit, which suggests this new adaptation could take place around or shortly after that time period. Studio Pierrot Executive Producer Yoshihiro Tominaga will be present as a special guest. That studio handled the original series, Shippuden, and Boruto. The voice actors for Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama, will also appear.
The new Naruto anime limited series isn’t the only topic that will come up during this presentation. The Naruto Card Game will also be discussed during the panel. That’s due out in 2027, and this is one of the previously announced 2026 event appearances for it.
We’ll learn about the new Naruto anime limited series at 2pm PT/5pm ET/11pm CET on October 10, 2026 during New York Comic Con. Viz Media handles the Naruto and Boruto manga outside Japan, and the anime adaptations are streaming on services like Crunchyroll.
