New Persona 3 Reload Demo Save Can Carry Over

Over a year after Persona 3 Reload debuted on consoles and PCs, a demo is now available. Atlus released it digitally on every storefront. The company also confirmed that if you pick it up, any save files you make in it can be carried over to the full version of the game if you decide to continue on after sampling it.

Atlus didn’t explain exactly how much of the game is available in this trial version. It did note that you can make a save file and it covers the opening, so this likely means you’ll get to experience getting to school and at least one battle. If you save, then buy the full game, you can transfer that file over if the console or PC version you buy is fully updated to the latest patch. Atlus did warn, “Please be careful not to overwrite your save data when playing the demo version after playing the full version, as the network slot is shared with the full version.”

Note that this will only cover the base game. The Episode Aigis: The Answer DLC occurs after the main story and is a separate purchase. That’s part of the $34.99 Expansion Pass.

Persona 3 Reload is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the demo is available now.
