Atlus took a break from releasing Persona 4 Revival character trailers to share a “The Story so Far” video that establishes what’s happening in the small town of Inaba. It looks at everything protagonist Yu Narukami goes through after coming to live with his uncle and cousin. There are no spoilers during the two minute teaser, though it does give us a chance to see more folks and locations from the game.
The narrator for this Persona 4 Revival story trailer is Yosuke Hanamura (Paul Castro Jr.). Things begin by introducing Yu and his starting Persona Izanagi with official character art for each one of them. It then explains he’s living with Detective Ryotaro Dojima and his daughter Nanako. After hearing an urban legend about the Midnight Channel that airs at midnight and supposedly shows your soulmate. It turns out there is some truth to that, as there’s a TV World people are being tossed into that connects to eventual real-world murder cases. Since Yu and his friends are able to access that other space, they form an investigation team and use the power of Persona to save people tossed into there.
