Suntory revealed that it will hold a new collaboration wave between its Boss Coffee brand and the Pokemon franchise as part of the latter’s 30th anniversary. The company will release new coffee can and bottle designs that feature more species from the popular game franchise. It’s unknown if we could see these variants on the Boss Coffee Amazon storefront worldwide or at local Asian grocery stores outside Japan. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The same brand has had an earlier crossover with the primary Pokemon franchise, separate from the specific collaboration with Pokemon Trading Card Game that appeared in 2025. This one particularly featured special coffee can designs featuring Pikachu, Eevee, and the starter Pokemon from the first five generations.
The new wave will add 13 new can designs, with one of them featuring the male and female Pikachus simultaneously, and the remaining 12 comprising starter Pokemon from the sixth to ninth generations.

In addition, Suntory will release new can designs for the Low-Sugar Veteran version based on the second-stage evolutions of the first-generation starter Pokemon, which are Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.

This collaboration will no longer be limited to the Boss coffee cans, as Suntory will also extend the collaboration to its Craft Boss bottles. The company will release new bottle designs with each featuring either of Quagsire, Audino, Alcremie, Psyduck, Munchlax, Clodsire, Swablu, Goomy, and Rowlet.

The new collaboration wave between Boss Coffee and Pokemon will launch in Japan on August 31, 2026.
