Marvelous and Honey Parade Games announced a new Senran Kagura mobile game, but at the moment there is no official title and it is known as Project N. Teaser art of one heroine appeared alongside the press release, on the official social media account, and during an announcement showcase. It is only confirmed for Japan so far, and there’s no word about a worldwide release. It is currently scheduled for a 2026 launch window.

There are few details about the game available. New characters will appear and be the focus, though this is going to be a sequel to the previous mobile game Senran Kagura: New Link. That game ended in May 2025, though an offline option is available. Since the previous game featured schools known from the console games like Hanzo, Hebijo, and Gessen, as well as entirely new groups like New Wave Union, it’s likely we’ll see them appear or referenced again.

None of the new characters were revealed yet, but two returning characters are confirmed. Sisters Gekko and Senko debuted in Senran Kagura: New Link, with the pair attending Gessen and working together. While that game didn’t appear worldwide, the duo’s storyline from it ended up being featured in the anime Senran Kagura Shinovi Master, which did appear everywhere and is streaming on Crunchyroll

Character designer Nan Yaegashi is also confirmed as a contributor on this new project. The artist worked on the series for years. In addition to designing characters for mainline entries like Senran Kagura Burst, Yaegashi also worked on spin-offs like Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash and Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars.

The Senran Kagura Project N new game will appear on mobile devices in Japan in 2026.
