There’s a whole new Shin Megami Tensei V trailer starring the Nahobino. That’s the player avatar in the game. When things begin, he’s an ordinary high school student. However, after the world changes, he fuses with a demon to become an entirely new entity called the Nahobino.
The video offers some insight into what happens and what that means for the player in-game. Many of the trailers leading up to this one hinted at his situation. The Nahobino starts out as an ordinary human who finds his way into Shin Megami Tensei V’s Da’at. A demon saves his life and joins with him to become this new creature. Like the Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne Demi-Fiend, this means having new abilities and suddenly becoming one of the most important and influential people in the world.

Shin Megami Tensei V will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on November 11, 2021 and worldwide on November 12, 2021.
