Square Enix announced that the company has established a new development studio called Luminous Productions with the purpose of developing new AAA titles and innovative game content to a global audience.
The studio is staffed with members of the creative team behind Final Fantasy XV, or Square Enix’s Business Division 2. The new studio will be led by Hajime Tabata, the COO and Head of Studio.
Luminous Productions is expected to further build on Square Enix Group’s vision to create new intellectual properties alongside their currently existing studios.
