Shift Up announced its next game is Stellar Blade: Blood Rain and stars a new heroine named Evie. This sequel follows the original Stellar Blade, which starred Eve. The company will self publish this title, which is in development. There’s no release date for it yet, and the first trailer involved PC-build footage.
We already knew a Stellar Blade sequel was in development, as Shift Up teased a new project in its 1Q 2026 Earnings Results. That confirmed announcements tied to the title would come up in 2026.
The first trailer from Summer Game Fest 2026 offered a hint as to what we can expect from the world after the events of the first game. We also see Evie working on a mission alongside someone referred to as Canna. We see her go on a mission that involves following certain individuals. One of them injects themselves with something, attacking an establishment and people around them. We then see additional gameplay clips of Evie fighting in other areas.
The full Summer Game Fest 2026 stream can be seen below. As of time of writing, the Day of the Devs portion started.
