New Tales Of Innocence R Character Looks Like A Pirate, But Is An Archaeologist

imageTales of Innocence is being remade for PlayStation Vita as with touch screen battle controls and a new character.

QQ Selezneva comes from a different world and despite her eye patch she introduces herself to Ruka as an archaeologist. She’s still learning Ruka’s language and has a tendency to slip into baby talk. She is also known to get clingy when tension rises.

QQ is 18 years old, weighs 50 kilograms (110 lbs.), and is 160 cm (5′ 3") tall. We’re guessing her double sided spear is about the same height. Saki Fujita from Record of Agarest War Zero and the animated series Working!! is her voice actress.

Another new feature, reported by Famitsu, explains players can touch character icons to make them do a preset technique in battle. The magazine also revealed there is another system that encourages players to play the game with skill, which will be revealed at a later date.

Tales of Innocence R is slated for release next year in Japan.
