As for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival premiere of the show during “Dive into The Ghost in the Shell,” there’s no set date and time for it yet both on the official page and programming site. It will feature the director Mokochan and the producers Daichi Sasa, Kengo Abe, and Kohei Sakita as special guests.

Prior to this, more focused trailers that highlighted some of the returning characters in the series came up. The first focused on Makoto. The Tachikoma robots appeared after that. We got a look at Batou in January 2026. The most recent one from early May 2026 starred Togusa.

The new The Ghost in the Shell anime will start airing on July 7, 2026. Kodansha handles the manga. Some of the most recent adaptations ahead of this new one are ones on Netflix like SAC_2045 line that also included the movies Sustainable War and The Last Human
