New Track and Field brings back old mascots

Konami is bringing Track & Field back on the Nintendo DS and it’s a mash-up of mini games and Konami mascots. Instead of immediately showing the game off with Snake or Alucard they dug deep into their vault of characters. New International Track and Field includes oddball characters like Sparkster from Rocket Knight Adventures and Oolong from Yie Ar Kung-Fu. With the exception of Pyramid Head there is a nostalgia overload here! Five characters have yet to be revealed. The way things are progressing I wouldn’t be surprised to see Circus Charlie or the Sunset Riders in New International Track and Field.
