New Uniqlo Sanrio Shirts Feature Kurumi and My Melody

Uniqlo announced its next Sanrio series of shirts features the characters Kuromi and My Melody. The clothing is in-store and online now. However, while these sorts of collections can sometimes involve unisex styles, this time only women’s and children’s sizes are available. The ones in women’s sizes range from XS to XXL and cost $24.99 each. The kids ones are $14.90 each and go from 3-4Y to 13Y.

There are nine shirts in the women’s section. All of them are inspired by 1990s grunge designs. Also, some of the shirts feature similar images, just in different colors.

Here’s a closer look at all of them. In the case of the two Kuromi logo shirts and one with My Melody’s face inside of a square, the designs are on the back. While they are in the “women’s” section, the product pages do show people modeling them regardless of gender. So it might just mean someone would need a slightly larger size than they’d normally wear.

As for the children’s shirts, only four designs are available. All of them also appeared in the women’s section. Only the one with Kuromi and My Melody together features a design on the back.

Here’s how those look:

Sanrio shirts appear rather often at Uniqlo. For example, in March 2023 there was another collection. Those all featured a Beach Trip design. However, like this selection, it only appeared in sizes for women and children.

The new Uniqlo Kuromi and My Melody Sanrio shirts are now available in-store and online.
