Paper Games announced that Junta Terashima will be the new voice actor for Rei, known as Zayne in the English translation, for the Japaneses dub of the mobile otome game Love and Deepspace. He is replacing Takuya Sato, who was the original voice actor until his departure earlier in 2026.
New content in the game from June 2026, as well as any re-released content, will use Terashima’s new performances as the voice actor for Zayne, aka Rei. Paper Games will slowly replace existing voice lines from Sato with Terashima. This work will begin in late August 2026. More information on the schedule, as well as re-recording content, will appear in the in-game announcements later on.
Junta Terashima is a Japanese voice actor who debuted in 2009. He is also a singer. Some of his previous roles as a voice actor include Yukimura in Inazuma Eleven Go, Sugiura in the Judgment series, and Takeru in The Idolmaster SideM.
Coincidentally, this is not the first time that Terashima replaced a voice actor in a Chinese work after the original actor was removed for unspecified reasons. In 2025, HoYoVerse announced that it would recast Showtaro Morikubo as Ifa in the Japanese dub of Genshin Impact. A few days after this announcement, it revealed that Junta Terashima would be his new voice actor.
Love and Deepspace is readily available for mobile devices. The new lines for Zayne in Love and Deepspace by voice actor Junta Terashima will be implemented in June 2026, and work to re-record the previous voice lines will begin in late August 2026.
