Nexomon, the Vewo Interactive Pokemon-like, is making the leap to consoles. The first console installment in what is now a series will be showing up on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Summer 2020, and now the details surrounding it have been revealed. People will be able to find Nexomon Extinction on various systems and PCs soon.
Like Pokemon, the Nexomon Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC game will cast players as an ambitious young person who dreams about becoming the best Nexomon trainer out there. However, the world is in danger in Nexomon Extinction, as it seems a threat could leave the over 300 different characters in the game extinct. It will be up to the player to catch and train characters, evolve them, and go through both major and side-quests around the world.
Here’s a trailer showing how it will look and work. It’s very similar to Pokemon, as you might imagine.
This isn’t the only Pokemon-like making a multiplatform debut. Temtem, a 3D, MMO take on the formula, is on the way to consoles in Spring 2021.
Nexomon Extinction will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Summer 2020, and its official website is now open. The original Nexomon game appeared on Apple iOS devices back in 2017. It was eventually ported to PCs in 2019.
