Atlus USA is bringing Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga to North America. This Xbox 360 release is an expanded version of Divinity II: Ego Draconis, which CDV games released here last year. You play as a Dragon Knight in this RPG who can transform into a dragon. This ability lets players reach new areas by flying and attack enemies from above by breathing fireballs.
Dragon Knight Saga adds a final episode for Divinity II titled "Flames of Vengeance" and a remastered version of Ego Draconis with new quests and monsters to fight. Atlus is packing a spoil with the North American version too. Every launch copy includes a soundtrack CD.
Cédric Lagarrigue, CEO of Focus Home Interactive explains why his company chose Atlus to bring Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga stateside. "Atlus has already demonstrated its expertise on the RPG genre and they proved it yet again with the success of Demon’s Souls. Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga was praised by the press and the players in Europe, and we are convinced Atlus is the ideal partner to make the game reach the same success in North America."
Prior to Demon’s Souls, Atlus picked up Trackmania DS from Focus Home Interactive. Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga is slated for release on April 12 in North America. Unlike Demon’s Souls it will not be a $60 game at launch.
