Next Junji Ito Nendoroid Is a Tomie Figure

Good Smile Company used Smile Fest 2025 to reveal its next Junji Ito figure will be a Nendoroid of the character Tomie. She’s been the star of multiple movies and short stories. There’s no release window for the character yet.

Since this figure is so early in development, we have no idea what she’ll look like. The announcement only included official art of Tomie by Junji Ito. It does suggest that this could be another monochromatic figure. That happened with the first Nendoroid based on one of his characters. The Kirie Goshima Uzumaki one ended up being a greyscale figure. The same happened with the Pocket Curse series of figures.

While the Tomie Nendoroid will be the first figure from Good Smile Company, another one appeared recently. In May 2025, a Yoshiki Fujimoto one was sold by Mamegyorai. That was a scale figure that was over 10 inches tall. 

Most recently, we saw Tomie appear in Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre. The Netflix anime featured an episode dedicated to her called “Tomie・Photo.”

The Tomie Nendoroid is in development, and there’s no release date for the Junji Ito figure yet.
