Good Smile Company teased its next Sanrio Nendoroid, and it will be of the Yoshikitty character that essentially looks like a mash-up of Hello Kitty and X Japan’s Yoshiki Hayashi. At the moment, only a silhouette of the planned figure is available on social media. However, the hashtags confirm it will be the character and a Nendoroid. It will also be a worldwide release, like other figures from the company, as the English language account shared the message. It follows ones based on characters like My Melody

Yoshikitty has been a part of the range of Sanrio characters since May 2009. There’s an official shop always open with merchandise and promotional events tied to it. It features a Hello Kitty style cat with a hairstyle and outfits inspired by X Japan’s Yoshiki Hayashi. The character also always appears in the yearly character ranking

It’s difficult to tell which Yoshikitty outfit might be used for the upcoming Nendoroid, as the Sanrio character’s official art featured a number of different designs. The silhouette only confirms the typical hairstyle will be present for the figure. Here’s how that looks:

We’ve seen a number of Sanrio Nendoroids already appear. In addition to the Hatsune Miku x Cinnamoroll one, there are ones based on My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin

The Yoshikitty Sanrio Nendoroid is in development, and there’s no release date for the figure of the character yet.
