Ni No Kuni Has A Different Battle System On PlayStation 3

Ni no Kuni: The Jet Black Wizard, that’s the Nintendo DS game, has players reference a magic book and draw runes on the touch screen to cast spells. The PlayStation 3 doesn’t have a touch screen and although a wand-like controller exists, Level 5 made a totally different battle system.

This trailer of Ni no Kuni: Queen of the Holy White Ash shows Oliver and friends commanding creatures. It appears that Oliver can shout orders like “go!” to make Lucci, the sword carrying critter attack.
