Ni no Kuni II adds new features with the Higgledies that will be a big part of the RPG’s battle system as well as a new kingdom-building mode. The official website tells us more about the two big additions.
Ni no Kuni II features little spirits called Higgledies that will help Even in his journey. Among them are ones that look extra special in a group, and they’re called the “Higgledie Leaders.” These guys come in different types.
The above image shows a group of Higgledies following their leader. We can see a circle surrounding the fire Higgledies and a special icon to show which one is the leader.
You can give an order to the fire Higgledies to create a dome-like barrier around Evan.
The barrier managed to nullify damage from the enemy. You can use Higgledie Leaders in such ways to smoothly advance your way through battles.
By bringing in new people and technology to the kingdom built by Evan, you can get all kinds of benefits that will come in handy for your adventure and battles. By assigning the right villagers to the right positions, the kingdom grows more effectively.
The players will not only need to build the kingdom’s castle, but also the various facilities as well as the people living around it. This will all be crucial for further expanding on your very own kingdom that will surely come in handy for your adventure with Evan and friends.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom launches on November 10, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will also have a multiplayer feature to play online with friends.
