Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has received a major update that impacts gameplay. When patch 1.03 is downloaded, people get not only bug fixes, but new difficulty levels, skills and accessories with second skill slots.

The new difficulty levels are probably Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom 1.03’s best changes. You can now choose from Normal, Hard and Expert, both when you start a new game or are in the middle of an existing one. Enemies will be more difficult, but in Hard and Expert you will also have higher rare item drop rates and maximum equipment quality levels. This is how you will be able to get the rare accessories that have two skill slots. In addition, new equipment skills will also appear.

Two major bugs have also been fixed. You can no longer park the airship where it is not supposed to be able to land. Also, on PCs, you will now be able to control the camera at all screen resolutions, as previously a bug prevented camera control at some.

An update 1.03 trailer has been released, showing the difference between the Normal, Hard and Expert difficulty levels.
