NieR: Automata’s Latest Footage Features Mount Riding And More On Pod Functions

Square Enix recently held a live stream demonstrating the latest of NieR: Automata, where we got to take a look at what it’s like to ride on mounts in the game, using Pods to fish, and more actions.

The footage starts at the 14:30 mark of the video, where we get to see YoRHa 2B find and catch a ride on a boar shortly after. We also get to see them ride on a deer that is said to be able to dash at faster speeds and jump higher. Next, they show various programs for the Pod, which allows you to assign skills to them to help you out, including one that allows you to fish using Pods.

NieR: Automata releases in Japan on February 23, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The game is headed Westward for PS4 and PC in early 2017.
