NieR Reincarnation Downloads Surpass 10 Million Users, Special Campaign to Appear

Square Enix announced that downloads for NieR Reincarnation have surpassed over 10 million users. As a result, a special campaign is scheduled to appear sometime soon. However, details for the event have not yet been disclosed. Square Enix plans to announce more information regarding the special event at a later date. Additionally, a new story chapter will be added to NieR Reincarnation on March 9, 2021. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Shortly before release, NieR Reincarnation had surpassed 1 million downloads. To celebrate, users received in-game currency they could use on limited time gacha banners. This includes a special banner featuring, 9S, 2B, and A2 from NieR: Automata. These unique variants feature special outfits for the three characters. This banner is currently available and will leave NieR Reincarnation on March 31, 2021.

A new trailer was released for the upcoming story chapter in NieR Reincarnation. This trailer features a look at environments the players will explore, and features a voice over. You can watch the trailer below.

Consumers will also be able to get their hands on the NieR Reincarnation original soundtrack soon. The soundtrack will feature background music from the game.

NieR Reincarnation is immediately available on Android and iOS devices to Japanese audiences. An English localization is currently underway, with a global released planned for sometime in the future.
