Nijisanji Vtuber Alban Knox Addressed Suspension and Graduation Rumors

On May 22, 2024, Anycolor and Nijisanji English Vtuber Alban Knox announced he would be on hiatus, and he’s now followed up to confirm it isn’t a suspension or prelude to a graduation. He took to social media to confirm this is a temporary break for self improvement and personal projects.

Here is Alban’s statement. He said people who say that this break is related to a potential graduation announcement or suspension will “look really, really stupid when I come back better than ever.” Other Nijisanji Vtubers like Ren Zotto and Vox Akuma also replied in the comments.

For those who missed the stream, which is available to watch on his official YouTube channel, Alban Knox touched on some of the things he’ll be doing while away. He noted he’s going to work on projects, handling some membership things, and working on his Japanese and singing skills. It and the initial Nijisanji announcement also brought up his return at either the end of September 2024 or beginning of October 2024.

However, it isn’t uncommon for Nijisanji announce a Vtuber graduation or two per month, and there have also been instances in which it seems as though there could have been a “stealth” suspension. In May 2024, Suzuka Utako and Bonnivier “Bobon” Pranaja graduations were announced.

The next Alban Knox stream ahead of his hiatus is a Project Sekai co-op one at 5am PT/9am ET on May 24, 2024.
